Job Details

We are seeking a Senior IT Web Developer (Manager, UX & Design Strategy) to lead the user experience and design strategy for our Gexa and Frontier digital properties. This role will champion human-centered design and insights-driven strategy to deliver cohesive, meaningful, and customer-centric digital experiences across our owned platforms.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Experience & Platforms, this leader will collaborate across product, technology, and marketing teams to define and evolve our digital acquisition and account management journeys driving measurable engagement, satisfaction, and conversion outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field).
  • 7+ years of experience in visual, interaction, or user experience design.
  • 2+ years of leadership or people management experience preferred.
  • Strong grasp of user interaction design principles and front-end web technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of web and mobile visual design best practices.
  • Proven ability to articulate design decisions, align business and design priorities, and respond to evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Skilled in human-centered design methods and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience managing and evolving design systems in line with brand direction.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Reliable, consistent attendance and successful completion of interview required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to identify and implement opportunities that enhance the customer digital experience.
  • Reframe strategic business questions, develop customer value propositions, and leverage research insights to inform design direction.
  • Use prototyping and usability testing to validate customer desirability and shape experience roadmaps for the short, mid, and long term.
  • Oversee and manage the organization s Figma design system, ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
  • Develop persuasive storytelling and design narratives to drive stakeholder alignment and executive buy-in.
  • Maintain consistency across all digital interfaces by ensuring adherence to UX and brand standards.
  • Create and maintain digital style guides and design systems that support multiple retail brands.
