Description
SAIC has an opening for a ServiceNow Senior System Administrator to provide application support for the configuration, customization, and administration of the ServiceNow ITSM Product Suite. This role is required to be co-located in San Diego, CA with opportunity for Hybrid work.
JOB DUTIES:
- Configuration, implementation and maintenance of a ServiceNow system
- Management of workflows, user roles and access, integrations, and will implement and drive automation in the system.
- Will need to have a strong ability to multi-task between upcoming platform growth and maintenance projects, current open items, and planning for future customer additions to the platform.
- The role will also be responsible for integrating our platform with external service providers to drive operational automation and efficiency.
- Job functions may include Subject matter expertise in ServiceNow system applications and custom applications.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's and five (5) years or more experience; Master's and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
- Must have Interim Secret clearance to start
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extremely well-developed organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Proactive problem-solving approach to address challenges and improve processes.
- ITIL experience
- MS PowerPoint, presentations, basic web design and graphics skills (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) to create digital designs for marketing.
- Near-peer workflow tool experience (e.g., SalesForce, ZenDesk, Monday.com, SAP).
- Web design experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Shopify, WIX, Stripe, GoDaddy, WordPress etc.) is a PLUS.
- Certification(s) in related near-peer workflow tools is a PLUS.
