The RF Engineering, Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the RF Engineering Electronics and Communications Hardware team.
As the RF Hardware Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading a highly skilled team on the development and integration of RF hardware supporting hardware across enterprise.
The oversight of all activities related development, production, and sustainment across programs
Managing staffing, training, and development of those on the RF Hardware team, including, but not limited to:
o Workforce management (re-assignments and placements, recruitment and selection of new employees and terminations)
o Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance and compensation, and promotions).
Management of your team's complex technical projects, by practicing effective project management problem resolution and risk management techniques.
Collaboration with LOBs, Other E&T Talent Centers, Operations, other Business Units, and Industry.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a proven leader with prior skills and experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Have a good understanding of RF system development, including cost and schedule drivers for program execution, while driving innovative and creative solutions.
Be expected to support communications with all levels of employees, customers, and industry from engineer up to executive.
Successful applicants will typically possess 5+ years of professional experience with a minimum education level of Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or other STEM/Engineering related fields
Basic Qualifications
5+ years' experience leading technical teams
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience leading technical integration projects
Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, management and customers.
Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities in a highly dynamic, high tempo environment
Demonstrated commitment to the development of others
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and coach a team, which includes the execution and evolution of a business rhythm that effectively communicates and achieves program objectives and priorities.

Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
Desired skills
Bachelor's Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent with RF coursework and/or experience

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $164,300 - $289,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
