Compensation: $145,000-155,000 Annual Base Salary Range

Overview:
- Be part of a high-impact digital transformation effort at a global aerospace leader. Work with cutting-edge tools and a cross-functional team to help modernize critical enterprise applications supporting innovation, safety, and performance.
- Seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Development Tools to join a large-scale, enterprise-wide Application Migration Program. As part of a global team of 12 architects, you will provide strategic guidance, technical design, and hands-on support across CI/CD pipelines and development toolchains to enable seamless migration and modernization of applications across cloud and on-prem environments.
- You will be responsible for designing and optimizing the toolsets and development environments used across engineering teams, with a focus on governance, automation, and standardization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable development tool solutions aligned with enterprise standards across CI/CD, source control, artifact management, and code quality.
- Partner closely with application and infrastructure teams to support application migrations and ensure tool compatibility across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Lead the configuration, integration, and automation of development platforms such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps to enable efficient software delivery.
- Establish best practices and patterns for development lifecycle workflows (build, test, release, deployment) across hybrid cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, DevSecOps, and export control policies throughout all development tools and automation practices.
- Provide documentation, training, and transition plans to operational teams and developers.
Required Technical Expertise: Experience with several of the following tools and platforms is required:
- Source Control: GitHub (Enterprise & SaaS)
- CI/CD Platforms:
- Cloud: Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline
- On-Prem: Jenkins
- Artifact Management: JFrog Artifactory (SaaS)
- Code Quality & Scanning: SonarQube
- Experience integrating security and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Proven success in enterprise DevOps architecture or tooling modernization
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software development or DevOps engineering, including 3+ years in architecture roles
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and automation in hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience supporting or leading enterprise application migration initiatives
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams globally
