SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program, a large SETA contract supporting the customer's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). The successful applicant will exhibit flexibility in task execution, provide technical/professional expertise on a variety of Systems Engineering topics (e.g., schedule management, requirements, readiness, verification and validation, etc.), and advise the government on program activities. The work will initially focus on requirements management support to enable end-to-end closure for programs with available growth of scope and responsibility, and will be located in Chantilly, VA. All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

Job Responsibilities:
On the Job Training will be provided in the customer's specific knowledge domain, but the successful candidate must be able to:
- Interact with Government project management and functional managers to define scope of work for projects, and develop and update detailed schedules and roadmaps
- Use Jira and Confluence to organize, implement and maintain roadmaps and schedules for the various program technical branches.
- Manage IT and facilities requests for service.
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identify any variances, and highlight developing problem areas.
- Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
- Coordinate project level impact analyses of proposed engineering changes
- Support agile process evolution across Government teams, development contractors, user engagement teams, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in business , engineering, science, or related discipline, or Associate Degree and two (2) years of experience is required. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines
- Agile development experience or formal agile training
- Planning and scheduling experience
- Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
