Senior Project Manager / PMO Lead (Handson)
Location: SanJose | Fulltime,
Mission–Run the PMO and personally drive the most critical IT workstreams across ERP, Cybersecurity, CRM, HRIS, data, and cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Own PMO governance and personally manage the highestrisk project workstream (build WBS, sprint board, RAID, budget).
- Create charters, stagegates, and dashboards; publish weekly portfolio health using Jira or Smartsheet (Clarity PPM good to have).
- Handson schedule management: develop MSProject/Smartsheet plans, run daily standups, drive dependency burndown.
- Mobilise burstcapacity staff within 48hours; continually replan to meet milestone dates.
- Enforce SDLC / AgileSAFe practices and SOX/GDPR compliance; maintain auditready artefacts.
- Mentor midlevel PMs and coordinators; lead weekly retrospectives for continuous improvement.
- Report to client executives, translating strategy to sprint goals and clearing blockers in real time.
Requirements
- 10+years handson IT project leadership with multiple fullcycle implementations across at least two domains (ERP, Cybersecurity, CRM, HRIS, cloud).
- PMP and ScrumMaster certification (CSM or PSM).
- Expert user of Jira + Confluence or Smartsheet; exposure to Broadcom Clarity PPM is a plus.
