Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a 12-month contract position based in Phoenix, AZ.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies, ensuring adherence to Agile best practices, and coordinating with both onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth coordination of project activities.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple teams and remove impediments to progress.
• Work directly with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog prioritization and sprint commitments.
• Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, etc.).
• Conduct twice-a-month offshore coordination calls at 10:30 PM (Phoenix time).
• Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative team culture.

Required Skills:

• 7-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe is a plus).
• Proven experience working with both onshore and offshore teams.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience using Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.

Preferred Skills:

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Prior experience in a global delivery model environment.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices.
