Full Stack Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer with our client in the financial Industry located in Iselin, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives across full stack development
• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using modern frameworks and tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and support the successful delivery of enterprise-level solutions
• Ensure alignment with internal policies, compliance standards, and overall software engineering best practices
• Develop modern web applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using Angular 7/8, React, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Design and implement RESTful microservices and integrate with APIs using Apigee, Kafka, and REST
• Deliver containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (OCP)
• Deploy cloud-native solutions using platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Azure
• Manage relational and NoSQL databases (MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and handle schema changes using Liquibase
• Automate builds and deployments using Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub, Harness, and UCD
• Integrate DevSecOps tools including SonarQube, GitLab, Checkmarx, and Black Duck.
• Implement observability practices using ELK Stack, Splunk, and AppDynamics
• Write automated tests using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, RestAssured, and Postman
• Participate in Agile Scrum/Kanban ceremonies using Jira and Confluence for collaboration and tracking

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (Angular 7/8, React) and UI/UX best practice
• Experience in containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Solid understanding of database technologies including MS SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, with experience in data modeling and Liquibase
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub, Harness, UCD)
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Black Duck
• Skilled in logging/monitoring tools such as ELK, Splunk, and AppDynamics
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (OCP, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and API integrations
• 3+ years of experience with testing frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence

Pay Range: $50-60
