Position: SAP BASIS Consultant RISE & Private Cloud Focus
Location: Hybrid Chicago, IL preferred
Type: Long-term Contract

Overview:

We are supporting a greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition (PCE) and seeking a seasoned SAP BASIS Consultant. This role will focus on ensuring technical environment readiness, managing system performance, and collaborating with SAP and infrastructure teams under the RISE with SAP model.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee user provisioning, role setup, and environment readiness for SAP S/4HANA PCE.

  • Support middleware configurations and interface integrations between SAP and external systems.

  • Coordinate with SAP PCE support teams and implementation partners to ensure infrastructure and system health.

  • Manage system updates, patching, and performance tuning activities across the SAP landscape.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity, background jobs, and system logs as part of proactive BASIS administration.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of SAP BASIS experience in enterprise SAP environments.

  • Hands-on experience supporting RISE with SAP landscapes, ideally in Private Cloud Edition contexts.

  • Strong understanding of user and role management, transport management, and system monitoring within cloud-hosted SAP environments.

  • Familiarity with SAP EarlyWatch, Solution Manager, and Cloud ALM is a plus.

  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and implementation partners.
