Technical Writer - Electronic Signage

Job Summary:
We're looking for a Technical Writer to create clear, user-friendly documentation for our electronic signage products. You'll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and support teams to produce manuals, diagrams, and guides for installers, end-users, and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain technical documents: installation manuals, user guides, troubleshooting materials, and product specs


• Translate complex technical info into clear, accessible content


• Create visual aids like wiring diagrams and schematics


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical details


• Maintain version control and ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, CE, FCC)


• Support internal training and knowledge base content

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Technical Communication, Engineering, English, or related field


• 2+ years of technical writing experience, ideally in electronics or manufacturing


• Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, FrameMaker, and Microsoft Word


• Comfortable with schematics and basic electrical terminology


• Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AV systems or electronic signage


• Familiarity with CMS platforms or embedded device interfaces


• Ability to read technical drawings and use CAD/graphic tools


• Knowledge of electrical product safety standards
