Responsibilities:

Position Overview

We are pleased to announce the opening for a Weapon System Assessment Requirements Engineer, who will join our Engineering Team in Huntsville, AL. Missile defense System Assessment performs technical assessments to support Senior Leadership and Warfighter stakeholders in making fielding decisions for the sensors, battle managers, communications, and weapons systems of the Missile Defense System (MDS). Provides direct technical support to the MDA by performing predictive analysis of MDS performance to support the technical rigor of test conditions, analytical support to system assessment leads, and synthesis and visualization of data to communicate key technical aspects of MDS performance.

Provides system engineering support to assist the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Capabilities and Limitations assessment of the Missile Defense System

Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in STEM Field with 12 + years of relevant experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Strong background in analysis work
  • Knowledge of MDA Missile Defense System (MDS)
  • Ability to present analysis results to various levels of personnel
  • Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
  • Synthesis of technical information to assess the technical performance of the MDS
  • Detailed knowledge of one or more elements or subsystems of the MDS
  • Ability to led the assessment for a capability spiral development effort and brief multiple boards including senior executives
  • Ability to obtain a TS and SCI if desired by the customer
Highly Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience and depth of knowledge with C2BMC
  • Experience with space capabilities
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
