Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our cloud engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure-based cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure design, deployment, and migration, and will work closely with data engineering teams to support large-scale data platforms. Experience in the healthcare domain and Azure certifications are a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure infrastructure solutions.
- Lead Azure infrastructure migration and modernization projects.
- Configure and manage Azure services including Virtual Networks, VNets, NSGs, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Key Vault.
- Support and optimize infrastructure for Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across Azure environments. - Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure services and cloud migration projects. - Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
- Experience supporting Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and ADLS from an infrastructure perspective. - Solid understanding of networking, identity and access management, and security best practices in Azure.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer.
- Prior experience in the healthcare domain with understanding of compliance standards like HIPAA.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines in Azure environments.
