Job Description:
  • The .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining client-server and N-tier applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • This role involves working with web-based and Windows-based applications, SQL Server, and various .NET frameworks to deliver efficient and scalable software solutions.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Experience in Software Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing of client-server and N-tier applications using C#.NET and .
  • Strong hands-on experience developing web-based and Windows-based applications using , C#.NET, , and .
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in SQL Server with Stored Procedures, Views, and Triggers.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and .NET Framework.
  • Experience with Web Forms, WinForms, Web Services, Windows Services, MVC, Bootstrap, JQuery, LINQ, Crystal Reports, and SSRS.
  • Experience with WPF desktop applications and Rich Client applications using XAML.
  • Experience working with SQL Server CE (Online/Offline) and single file deployment databases.
  • Experience with CheckMarx static code analysis software.
  • Experience developing applications using , LINQ to SQL, and Entity Framework 4.
  • Experience designing user interfaces (UI) with AJAX, JavaScript, and modern front-end techniques.
  • Strong ability to learn, adapt, and implement new technologies quickly.
Required Skills:
  • Extensive experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing large-scale web-based applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • Proficiency in .NET 4.5 or above, SQL Server 2012 or later, MVC 4 or later, and C#.
  • Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, jQuery, and CSS.
  • Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, and network operations).
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and claims-based authentication.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SQL Server 2016.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience generating reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Business Objects.
  • Experience with workflow tools and SharePoint integration.
  • Prior experience working with the Commonwealth of Kentucky or other state government agencies.
