Position Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the full project lifecycle, from the initial planning phase to the project closeout. You will coordinate cross-functional resources and external vendors, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with our client's operational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, coordinating project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables with technical feasibility in mind.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans using Monday.com, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems like JDE for efficient planning, material handling, labor scheduling, and cost tracking.
- Maintain alignment between execution schedules and JDE/MRP systems to ensure accuracy in procurement, production, and logistics efforts.
- Monitor project performance closely, providing stakeholders with clear, timely reports and status updates.
- Lead change order management by identifying scope changes, preparing comprehensive change documentation, and negotiating terms with clients.
- Foster and develop a high-performance culture by mentoring at least one direct report, ensuring ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, and internal departments to align on goals, scope, and responsibilities throughout project execution.
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with third-party vendors, managing negotiations regarding scope adjustments and project costs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain project timelines and accountability.
- Drive necessary documentation, including scopes, schedules, budgets, change orders, and close-out records, while enforcing compliance with safety, quality, and procedural standards.
- Interact with various internal departments and report directly to senior management, ensuring effective communication throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Associate's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in an engineering or operations environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and a demonstrated ability to foster a safety-first culture.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to results.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical and executive audiences.
- Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., Monday.com) and ERP systems (e.g., JDE).
- Strong planning and execution capabilities focused on continuous improvement and risk management.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and system schematics.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a collaborative team player mentality.
