Sr AWS Connect Developer

Location - Denver, CO (onsite)

Primary Skills

  • Proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of contact center operations: IVR systems, call routing, and telephony integrations.
  • Experience with programming languages: React, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.

Job Description
As a Senior AWS Connect Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain advanced AWS Connect solutions that elevate customer and agent experiences. Technical expertise in Lambda, API Gateway, and integration with AWS services will be critical in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing contact center applications.
Key Responsibilities

  • AWS Connect Development:
    • Design and implement contact flows including IVR menus, call routing, and system integrations.
    • Configure AWS Connect instances, queues, and telephony settings to meet business needs.
    • Develop custom contact attributes, prompts, and modules to improve customer and agent workflows.
  • Lambda & Serverless Architecture:
    • Develop Lambda functions (C#, JavaScript) for call routing, backend processes, and API integrations.
    • Implement serverless architectures for tasks such as data handling and business logic execution.
  • AWS Integration:
    • Integrate AWS Connect with services like DynamoDB, S3, Lex, and Lambda.
    • Use AWS SDKs and APIs to facilitate communication between AWS components.
  • API Gateway:
    • Configure and manage RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway.
    • Implement authentication, authorization, and throttling policies for secure and scalable access.
  • Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Monitor system performance using CloudWatch and other tools.
    • Analyze metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and scalability.
  • Documentation & Best Practices:
    • Maintain technical documentation, repositories, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Follow AWS best practices, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
    • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams: developers, business analysts, sysadmins, and support staff.
    • Participate in agile processes (scrum, sprint planning, grooming).
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AWS Connect and its ecosystem.
    • Stay current on AWS Connect innovations and industry trends.

Work Details

  • Onsite position Denver, CO (no remote option)
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
    • Typical hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
