Pay Range:
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
This position will require onsite work in Woodlawn, MD five days a week.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work with the customer to define and document business / technical requirements, user stories, processes, and workflows.
- Work with users and developers to create the business and functional specifications that meet requirements.
- Work closely with other BAs, Developers, Testers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle and demonstrate both existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders.
- Support User Interface (UI), Application Programming Interface (API) and database validation activities by documenting test plans and test scenarios, and by testing end points using SOAP UI and SWAGGER UI.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, testers, DBAs, etc. to review / document requirements, assess level of effort, and write automation test scripts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to the developers building those functions, and work with the QA team to test the developed functionality.
- Attend daily scrum calls and provide status and participate in feature meetings with Agile team members to understand and refine business features.
- All other duties as assigned or directed.
Foundation for Success (Required Qualifications):
This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:
- Experience in defining business requirements focused on the customer experience.
- Experience using agile techniques for requirements elicitation, software testing, quality assurance processes, and writing technical documentation.
- Experience with system testing and data analysis, which includes creating and running SQL Queries to validate system results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain grants management policies, processes, and technical information clearly and accurately.
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years OR Masters degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted/accepted in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

- Experience with Version one (Agility) OR Jira.
- Experience working in a scaled agile/scrum environment managing requirements, backlogs and roadmaps of multiple projects and products.
- Hands on experience building test cases with Test Manager and Test Capture.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience engaging in business process analysis, understanding the customer's business process requirements, and capable of translating those business requirements into business and technical documentation and specifications.
- Support User Interface (UI) and database validation activities by documenting test plans and test scenarios, identifying and creating test data, executing test cases and test scenarios, identifying defects and performing defect management.
- Support Application Programming Interface (API) validation activities by testing end points using SOAP UI and SWAGGER UI.
How to Stand Out from the Crowd (Desired Qualifications):
Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
- Experience with Ready APIs, testing, writing, communication.
- Knowledge of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and documenting pertinent information concerning the bots.
- Experience documenting requirements in the form of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience validating system results match the expectation of the requirements.
- Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation.
