Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Adobe Marketo Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic and technical leadership in marketing automation. This expert-level role requires deep technical expertise in Adobe Marketo, including campaign orchestration, Salesforce integration, data governance, and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and able to architect and execute scalable marketing automation strategies that align closely with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Strategy & Governance
- Serve as the primary authority on Adobe Marketo best practices, architecture, and gove0rnance
- Define and enforce standards for campaign creation, lead management, segmentation, and compliance
- Create documentation, templates, and playbooks for scalable execution
Campaign Design & Execution
- Architect and deploy complex multi-touch nurture campaigns, triggered programs, and event-based marketing
- Build and manage global templates for emails, landing pages, and forms with tokenization and dynamic content
Salesforce Integration & Data Sync
- Oversee the health and optimization of the Marketo Salesforce integration
- Ensure accurate data flow across platforms including leads, contacts, campaigns, opportunities, and custom objects
- Troubleshoot sync issues and coordinate with IT/CRM teams as needed
Lead Lifecycle & Scoring
- Design advanced lead scoring models, lifecycle frameworks, and routing logic
- Implement attribution modeling and funnel analysis to optimize engagement and conversion
Analytics & Optimization
- Define KPIs and build Marketo and Salesforce reports to monitor performance
- Conduct audits, A/B testing, and ongoing optimization to improve ROI
- Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on Adobe Marketo experience in a lead or SME capacity
- Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification strongly preferred
- In-depth experience with Salesforce CRM, including objects, campaign tracking, and data sync
- Strong background in B2B SaaS or enterprise marketing environments
- Proven experience implementing global marketing automation strategies
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, tokens, snippets, segmentation, smart campaigns, and lead routing
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and guide junior team members
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce Process Builder, Flows, and Campaign Hierarchies
- Familiarity with marketing attribution tools (e.g., Bizible), intent data platforms (e.g., ZoomInfo), chat and sales acceleration tools (e.g., Drift, Salesloft)
- Exposure to SQL, Tableau, or Power BI for custom reporting and dashboards
- Experience in data privacy and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
