Job Details
Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Cloud Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 06+ Months
Scope
- Provision Google Cloud Platform projects for Conversational Commerce (prj-cp-concom-dev01 for non-prod, prj-cp-concom-prd01 for prod) with service accounts and storage for audio files
- Configure VPCs, subnets, and firewall rules for secure regional deployments, including Cloud Load Balancing. SSL, and Identity-Aware Proxy
- Enable event-driven architecture using Cloud Functions and Cloud Run for edge-cloud communication and workload automation.
- Set up logging and monitoring pipelines to capture metrics and observability data from edge devices to Google Cloud Platform
- Deploy GKE clusters for Dev, INT, and Prod environments to support edge workloads and enable CI/CD pipelines.
- Support edge deployments in prioritized markets with integration testing and milestone alignment.
