Job Title : ETL Data Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Location : Hybrid in either Oakland, CA, Rancho Cordova, CA or Alpharetta, GA location
Duration: 12+ Months
Note: Local candidates only to either Alpharetta, GA or Rancho Cordova, CA or Oakland, CA area
Job Required Skills and Duties:
- Ability to write complex queries to validate data integrity and consistency across different systems and environments
- Knowledge of data profiling, data integrity, and completeness checks to ensure accurate, timely and consistent data
- Experience in testing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, including data extraction, transformation rules, and loading into target systems.
- Ensuring the correctness of database schemas, relationships, constraints, and data types.
- Experience with Snowflake and Matillion is a significant plus
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PLSQL, Python or Perl to automate testing tasks and data validation process.
- Experience in the healthcare and insurance industries is a plus
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Development Team, and Business Clients to develop test strategies and test plans.
- Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing for assigned projects, including review and regression test problem resolution.
- Analyze, define, and document issues and defects discovered during testing. Develop and execute test cases.
- Support production support team in troubleshooting and resolution of product issues. May be assigned to various projects utilizing skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred and/or associated degree with 3 - 5 years of work-related experience.

- Organizational and planning skills with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to recognize patterns of errors and formulate recommendations for policy or procedural improvement.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while interpreting policies and operating practices.
- Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to express ideas and thoughts clearly.
- Technical writing skills describing issues and developing policy and procedures.
- Basic to Intermediate MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Interactive Training skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with multiple levels of staff.
- Ability to prioritize and follow through with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle detailed assignments and work on a computer up to 8 hours a day.
