Title: MS Dynamics 365 CE Application Management Consultant Location: Remote USA Job Type: Contract
JOB OVERVIEW
TalentFish is casting a line for a MS Dynamics 365 CE Application Management Services Specialist who will serve as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE). This role is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of D365 CE applications post-implementation.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Dynamics 365 CE professional with a service-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to system optimization and issue resolution. Candidates should have expert-level experience in D365 CE Field Service management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support & Issue Resolution
- Manage and resolve L1 L3 support tickets for Dynamics 365 CE applications.
- Investigate and troubleshoot functional and technical issues.
- Collaborate with Microsoft support and internal teams for escalations.
System Administration
- Handle user provisioning, security role assignments, and permissions.
- Perform configuration changes and apply minor customizations.
Enhancements & Change Requests
- Review and implement small enhancements or features based on business needs.
- Partner with users to gather feedback and recommend process or system improvements.
Monitoring & System Health
- Monitor integrations, performance, and data flows across environments.
- Maintain system uptime and proactively address recurring issues.
Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and SOPs.
- Conduct user training and support adoption of new features.
Release & Patch Management
- Coordinate updates, hotfixes, and patch deployments.
- Support testing cycles and environment management activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Dynamics 365 CE application management including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, Project Operations, and Customer Insights.
- Experience managing D365 CE Field Service integrations with third-party time tracking solutions (e.g., Kronos/UKG, Harvest, TSheets, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Experience with Azure DevOps and release pipelines.
- Working knowledge of ITIL or service management processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced support environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certification in Dynamics 365 CE or Power Platform.
- Experience in enterprise environments or managed service models.
- Familiarity with related Microsoft technologies (e.g., LCS, Dataverse).
Compensation and Employment
The expected salary range for this position is $65-90 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
