Job Title: Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid, Locals preferred)
Employment Type: W2 Only

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-availability environments and are passionate about automation, observability, and reliability engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless and secure software delivery.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, or ELK Stack.
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Implement SRE principles including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident response.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure systems are resilient, secure, and performant.
- Automate operational tasks and improve system observability and alerting.
- Lead root cause analysis and postmortem processes for production incidents.
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across teams and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
- Deep understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and security.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Proven track record of managing high-availability, high-transaction systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Familiarity with serverless architectures, event-driven systems, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to DevSecOps, compliance automation, and policy-as-code.
- Certifications such as:
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
