CSRA State and Local Solutions LLC has multiple openings for the position of Software Developer Senior (Ref# SDS512SB).
Work Location: 150 Broadway, Menands, NY 12204. Position may telecommute/work remotely 80% of the time.
Job Duties: Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software on a multi-tier architecture including service-oriented architecture, multi-tier web applications, using Java, and various other COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) software products, for the Health Exchange systems / applications. Build, code, test, and maintain highly complex, high-volume, large scale, scalable, maintainable, and extensible software on a Java/J2EE application stack using full software development life-cycle (SDLC) methodology from concept, design, and documentation to testing, ensuring specification compliancy and adhering to coding standards. Analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and assign with the design of software systems to meet those needs. Perform all phases of the SDLC. Create a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application. Perform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs. Provide analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status. Advise on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates. May serve as a team or task lead. Document code consistently throughout the development process. Use of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular, JSON, Ajax, XML, Eclipse, Web Services (SOAP & REST), WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Tomcat, SQL, PL/SQL, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, JUnit, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, and Windows.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years in a related occupation including Application Developer, Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 3 years of experience with Health Exchange systems/applications, Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, HTML, CSS, Eclipse, WebSphere/WAS, Maven, JUnit, SQL, and DB2. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
Salary: $ 135,699 - $ 153,826 / year

The likely salary range for this position is $115,344 - $156,054. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
