Project Manager
Summary
Our client seeks a Project Manager II to lead complex business application and digital hub development/implementation projects. This role determines overall project strategy, coordinates with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, and drives projects through execution to implementation while leading and directing project teams using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technology projects leveraging Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies through full development cycle
- Define project objectives and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create, execute, and maintain project plans including resource scheduling and milestone planning
- Provide PM oversight for 3rd party vendors and manage project budgets with appropriate approvals
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and efficiently identify and resolve project issues
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent education/experience
- 5+ years project management work experience required
- Strong experience in cross-team collaboration, vendor management, and executive engagement
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and experience documenting project management processes
- Local candidate preferred with ability to travel as needed
Preferred
- Experience within commercial insurance and brokerage industry
- Experience with Monday.com and ADO project management tools
- Strong understanding of application programming, database, and system design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level presentations
This is a 6-Month Contract opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
