Job Details
The Technical Engineering Manager is responsible for leading our LFP team's activity launching products, managing form/fit/function changes to launched programs, and developing the team to continuously iterate and improve our change management processes. This role will also be responsible for leading and mentoring the Engineers, Program Managers, and Technicians on the team, helping them grow personally and professionally.

- Drive all production launch and sustaining change activities for products and changes coming into the factory. Ensure we have a smooth, successful launch of all changes and product launches in the factory exceed both timeline expectations and performance requirements for both product and factory
- Lead the LFP team and define bespoke development plans for each member in the organization to support their professional and personal growth, including setting expectations for each member's performance. Develop both technical skills such as Data Analysis, Project Management, Trail Design, Change Control and soft skills such as Influence Development and Cross Functional Leadership
- Ensure that processes and guidelines are followed at all times and conduct regular reviews of the process, iterating to make improvements whenever required by business needs
- Clearly communicate program roadmaps, project/program status, risks, support needs, etc. to all levels of the organization to ensure there are no gaps in understanding of status
- Own headcount and resource planning for projects currently in progress and planned expansion activities
- Interact, integrate, and drive results across cross-functional teams in Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Production, and Executive Leadership
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Evidence of exceptional ability managing multiple complex programs/projects simultaneously
- Experience in Engineering, Program Management, and/or Manufacturing. Process, Quality, or Equipment experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Executive level communication skills, both verbal and written to both technical and non-technical team members
- Thorough understanding of product validation processes, production operations, DFM, material movement, etc.
- Clear understanding of how the manufacturing validation process runs in relation to new products (methodology, validation plans, associated KPIs)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams
- Outstanding problem solving skills; adverse in various problem solving methodologies
