Our client is seeking a Power Platform Engineer to help build apps and utilize copilot studio for AI integration
The Automation Engineer Sr's primary duty involves design work, specifically designing a tailored solutions in order to meet a specific requests using automation technologies. In addition to the work of a more senior automation engineer, this position will coach more junior level engineers on best automation practices and techniques.

In addition to the work of a more senior automation engineer, this position will coach more junior level engineers on best automation practices and techniques.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary duty involves design work, specifically designing a tailored solution in order to meet a specific request using automation technologies.
Design, develop, and manage custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
Create and optimize business process automations using Power Automate.
Build data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI.
Develop, manage, and maintain AI-powered chatbots and virtual agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Leverage Copilot Studio to create conversational experiences that integrate with back-end systems, including Dataverse, Azure services, APIs, and legacy applications.
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and other services.
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and deliver solutions that drive productivity and user adoption.
Document technical specifications, workflows, and solution architectures for small-to medium-scale projects and deliver presentations with minimal supervision.
Stay current with new features and roadmap developments across Power Platform and Microsoft AI capabilities.
Provide effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue.
Dissects complex situations and refocuses on critical technology tasks.
Frequently anticipate problems and analyzes ways to mitigate the risk.
Articulates the business value and impact of advanced technical and non-technical information and understands when to escalate issues.
Coaches teams on best automation practices techniques. Leads other automation engineers through tactical problems.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
7+ years technical experience
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio
Preferred Qualifications:
High degree of technical expertise/professional mastery to recommend process improvements
Strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot Studio, including chatbot authoring, trigger phrases, topics, entities, and integration with external data sources and APIs.
Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions.
Familiarity with Power Fx, low-code expressions, and custom connectors.
Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, PowerShell, or C#) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work in agile and cross-functional team environments.
Experience with AI Builder, Copilot integrations, or Azure OpenAI services is a strong plus.
Experience in UX/UI design for apps and chatbot experiences.
Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps practices for Power Platform.
Microsoft Certifications such as:
o PL-100: Power Platform App Maker
o PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant
o PL-400: Power Platform Developer
o PL-900: Power Platform Fundamental
