Job Description:
Skillset:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS)
- Strong experience with SQL Server in On-prem and cloud
- Demonstrates a strong service mindset when supporting internal teams, clients.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with case/incident management tools and workflows (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Experience working with Monitoring tools : AWS CloudWatch, Datadog.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DBAs, manage projects and providing technical guidance and training.
- Participate in change control and incident management processes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
- Provide architectural guidance during application or data platform development.
- Plan and execute database migrations from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure using tools like Azure Database Migration Service.
- Having experience with AWS RDS (Relational Database Service) .
- Handle migrations, upgrades across SQL Server 2022/2019/2016/2014 environments.
- Evaluate and propose DB platform upgrades or migrations (on-prem cloud) including Azure and AWS platforms.
