Must Have Google Cloud Platform Platform Architect certification
Architects should have hands-on experience and be able to think architecturally and implement solutions. They should not only plan but also execute the solutions. They should be able to design and execute new patterns and platform-level solutions.
- Core Services: List of core services required for the platform, including DNS, firewall, IAM, resource hierarchy structure, and load balancing. Important to have a good understanding of these services for the platform-level role.
- Importance of Core Services: a good understanding of these core services for the platform-level role, as they are essential for building and managing the platform effectively.
- Additional Core Services: core services like Google Compute Engine (GCE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), which are also crucial for the platform
We are looking for a Google Cloud Platform Platform Infrastructure Architect that has in depth experience with the following Google Cloud Platform Core Services
Compute: Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions
Storage: Google Cloud Storage, Persistent Disks, File store, Cloud Storage for Firebase
Databases: Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Fire store, Bigtable, Memory store
Networking: Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud Interconnect
Big Data: Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub
Machine Learning: AI Platform, Auto ML, TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI
Identity & Security: Cloud Identity, Cloud IAM, Cloud Security Command Center, Data Loss Prevention API
Management Tools: Cloud Console, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Deployment Manager
API Management: Apigee, Cloud Endpoints
Developer Tools : Cloud Source Repositories, Cloud Build, Cloud Functions
The key is that the resource will be designing/building shared services at the platform level for use by multiple development teams and needs to have in-depth, hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform Core Services.
