Job Details

Role: Sr. Mulesoft Developer
Location: Kansas City, MO. On site 4 days a week, WFH 1 day a week

Qualifications

  • The position requires a deep technical knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0, with a strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
  • 3 years' experience in MuleSoft development and integration projects
  • Experience with Mule API Manager and RAML over Anypoint Studio
  • Experience with Anypoint Cloud-Hub, API Gateway and Management, Mule Dataweave, SOAP, XSD, WSDL
  • Experience with TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
  • Experience in the Banking and Finance Industry, secondary knowledge of HSA/Health plans
  • Experience with Okta, Biztalk, .Net integration, MS.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Scripting
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other information technology ticketing systems
  • Ability to build strong collaborative and productive relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating basis

Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in API Management concepts and be capable of creating comprehensive end-to-end integration deliverables, as well as technical specification documents
  • The role involves analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions in collaboration with management, associates, and end users, adhering to the Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Additionally, the candidate will provide production system support, resolving issues and ensuring ongoing functionality
  • There may also be opportunities to oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed
  • The responsibilities of this role include system enhancement, where the candidate will evaluate and improve departmental systems, processes, and applications using the MuleSoft platform to construct APIs, develop testing methods, and design materials
  • The candidate will also provide time estimates for new features and assist in implementing modifications, executing test plans to validate application functions as designed
  • In terms of analysis, the candidate will collect data related to user requests, determine scope, time estimates, and system impacts, and inspect business and programming specifications for accuracy
  • Troubleshooting Mule ESB will be a key part of the role, requiring experience with debuggers, flow analyzers, and configuration tools
  • In providing business support, the candidate will address reported issues, anticipate maintenance requirements, and ensure functionality for end users
  • Drafting documentation for system, end user, and operational purposes, including technical specifications and application designs, will also be part of the job
  • The candidate will design and develop MuleSoft APIs, providing instructions for deployment into a cloud environment, and will identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint Studio
  • Experience with various components of the Anypoint platform, including Exchange Design Center and API management, is essential
  • The role also includes providing 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis
  • Perform system enhancement actions to evaluate and improve departmental systems, processes, and applications
  • Utilize the MuleSoft platform to construct APIs, develop testing methods, and design materials
