Position Overview

The Enterprise Data Specialist plays a critical role in designing, modeling, and mapping enterprise-scale data solutions for Clients's data warehouse. This role partners closely with business and IT teams to deliver high-quality data architecture, integration, and reporting solutions across insurance systems.

Insurance domain experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect enterprise data warehouse solutions sourcing from multiple insurance systems (Policy, Claims, Treaty, Financials).

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define data architecture and modeling requirements.

  • Create logical and physical data models and implement them on SQL Server platforms.

  • Develop Source-to-Target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration.

  • Work closely with development teams to translate mappings into Informatica and SQL code.

  • Facilitate data discovery sessions with business SMEs.

  • Develop strategies for data ingestion and validation using SQL-based solutions.

  • Design enterprise data models to support reporting and analytics.

  • Create SQL Server views for dashboards and reporting.

  • Participate in release planning and post-deployment validation.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize SQL, Informatica mappings, and stored procedures.

  • Create and tune semantic layer reporting views.

Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehouse design.

  • 3+ years of experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance domain (mandatory).

  • Strong experience extracting data from Insurance applications.

  • Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL, and BI architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Informatica.

  • Strong expertise in SQL Server (DDL, views, performance tuning).

  • Experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimsCenter.

  • Strong ability to generate and validate enterprise data models.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Informatica Certification

  • Experience with DB2 or other RDBMS platforms.
