About the Role:
Client is seeking an exceptional Senior .NET & SSIS Developer to join our Tax Process and Operations team on a Long-term contract. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining complex data integration and application solutions that support Verizon's tax operations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned expert in full-stack .NET development and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), with a strong ability to manage large-scale data workflows and build enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data-driven applications.
- Write clean, scalable code using ASP.NET and C#.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases and SSIS data pipelines.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems and applications.
- Create technical specifications, test plans, and operational documentation.
- Support post-rollout implementation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- Full-Stack .NET Development (8-10+ years):
Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, and enterprise-level web application development. - Microsoft SQL Server (8-10+ years):
Expertise in T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
Strong experience with SSIS for ETL and data pipeline creation. - Front-End Web Technologies (7+ years):
Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building responsive UIs.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in financial, accounting, or tax-related domains.
- Familiarity with Telerik controls for ASP.NET AJAX.
- Knowledge of Git or GitLab version control systems.
- Exposure to Angular or other JavaScript frameworks.
Education & Certifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Microsoft certifications related to .NET development are a plus.
