Typical Day in the Role

Position Purpose:

• Sr software engineer hands-on in building and managing real-time data pipelines using CentEvent, Native Kafka, Kafka Streams (KStream), and loading the data in Snowflake within the AWS cloud ecosystem.
• Ability to work with Snowflake tables and procedures.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures is absolute must.

Candidate Requirements

• Required: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 - 6 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. Preferred:
• Required: N/A Preferred: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Additional qualities to look for:

• Experience with Other: evaluating and improving Code Quality /Standards
• Experience with Other: working with and directing third-party Application Developers
• Knowledge of Programming Concepts; Software Design

1. Building and managing real-time data pipelines using CentEvent, Native Kafka, Kafka Streams (KStream), and loading the data in Snowflake within the AWS cloud ecosystem.
2. Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and queuing mechanism in AWS.
3. Ability to work with Snowflake tables and procedures.
