Job Description:

This position is for System Administration support for development and production environments for a mission-critical Identity and Access Management(IdAM) system. Responsibilities include working with a team to obtain and configure Virtual Machines(VMs), loading Operating systems and software, performing security hardening, patching, and monitoring status. The position also will support ISSO and Issues. Apply knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology. Independently read, write, and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

The Level 2 System Administrator shall possess the following capabilities:

Critical Skills:
  • Experience with:
    • Configuration and Maintenance of Virtual Machines
    • Linux and Windows operating systems
    • Scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Perl)
    • OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA, Version updates)
    • Container Technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Knowledge or skill relevant to computer operations
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • Excellent communications skills

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with:
    • IdAM directories (active directory and/or LDAP)
    • Ticket tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Redmine, RT Tracker)
    • Familiarity with Ansible and Mongo

Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently and with a team.

Qualifications:
  • 10 years of System Administrator experience
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 14 years.

Certifications Required:
  • DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required if COR determines that the position's activities include CWIP activities.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
