About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer to join our CX Digital Marketing Practice. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver high-quality marketing automation solutions while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable SFMC solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy solutions using:
    • Email Studio
    • Cloud Pages
    • Journey Builder
    • Automation Studio (imports, exports, queries)
    • Contact Builder / Data Extensions
    • Mobile Connect (SMS)
  • Develop using AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for personalized customer experiences.
  • Integrate Salesforce CRM with SFMC, including object replication, engagement data write-back, and related patterns.
  • Work with SFMC SOAP & REST APIs for integrations and troubleshooting.
  • Review and recommend improvements to clients existing marketing technology landscape.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (not Pardot).
  • Strong understanding of marketing data models, complex data structures, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in SFMC scripting and development languages:
    • AMPscript
    • Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS)
    • SQL
    • HTML/CSS
    • JavaScript
  • Experience integrating Salesforce CRM with SFMC.
  • Proven ability to work with SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
