Our direct client, a fast-growing health care technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join a growing team. As a major contributor to the Scrum team, you will be expected to gather featured requests, prioritize tasks, organize & coordinate sprints, assess work progress, and schedule releases. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage the product and meet release expectations. Ultimately, you will aid in delivering products to achieve the Company s vision while furthering your own career in product management.
This position can be 100% remote, or hybrid mode (preferred), working on site in the Houston office 2 or 3 days a week.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Incorporate feature requests into a product roadmap.
- Groom and prioritize backlog.
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Set sprint goals.
- Write acceptance tests.
- Plan releases and upgrades.
- Follow the progress of work and address production issues during sprints.
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users.
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback.
- Keep track of industry trends.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Significant experience listening to client issues and problems, relating them to client s needs, proposing appropriate solutions, and communicating these in technical and non-technical and non-technical terms.
- 7+ years of work experience, with 3+ years as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
- 3+ years of Healthcare industry experience, especially with prior claims process systems.
- CMS and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience is a big plus.
- Team spirit and good communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Hands-on experience managing all stags of the product life cycle.
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field.
