Security Engineer (Data Focused)

Are you local to PA and on the hunt for a highly technical security engineer position? The team at this local trading firm is growing, and they're on the lookout for a Security Engineer to join them. In this role, you'll be taking the lead on defensive security, overseeing data protection, network security, IR remediation, and threat detection.

They're looking for candidates with a few years of professional experience in cybersecurity, particularly focusing on blue team activities like EDR, incident response, data protection, and network security. While experience with Azure is a plus, it's not mandatory. The position is full-time and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement in Northwest Philly, so they're only considering local candidates. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years of professional experience in cyber security
• Data loss prevention experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Relevant security certifications
