Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) General Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented leader to drive direct-to-consumer operations for a global consumer electronics company. This role focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing e-commerce and offline channels to enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The position is hands-on and collaborative, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence, revenue growth, and a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the D2C strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including promotions, site experience, and customer journey optimization.

Manage end-to-end fulfillment processes, ensuring timely delivery and strong vendor partnerships.

Track and analyze KPIs such as sales performance, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, and ROI, and implement improvements.

Lead cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product, CRM, supply chain, IT, and finance teams.

Manage P&L responsibilities to drive revenue, margin, and profitability.

Use data and analytics to guide personalization, A/B testing, and continuous performance enhancements.

Mentor and lead D2C teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.

15+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer operations, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.

Proven success in scaling D2C channels, driving revenue growth, and improving customer experience.

Expertise with e-commerce platforms, CRM tools, and digital marketing technologies.

Strong understanding of SEO, digital advertising, analytics, and social commerce.

Experience managing online marketplaces and cross-functional teams in multi-cultural environments.

Knowledge of legal and regulatory considerations related to online sales and data privacy.

Nice to have: hands-on experience with social media operations, emerging D2C technologies, or international market exposure.
