Position: SailPoint Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location: - Hybrid / Austin TX

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Software Developer 2 to assist with projects involving application integrations, identity and access management, and modernization efforts within the agency.

• The selected Candidate(s) must meet the general qualifications of Software Developer 2 in Applications/Software Development and fulfill the specific requirements outlined below. All work products resulting from this engagement will be the property of and considered "works made for hire."

• This role may require the candidate and/or vendor to pass a criminal background check in accordance will not reimburse for any costs associated with interviews or background checks.

Level Description

• Experience Level: 4 7 years
• Familiarity with standard development concepts, practices, and tools
• Works under limited supervision with latitude for independent judgment
• Creativity and initiative are highly valued

General Job Duties

• Research, design, implement, and manage software programs
• Test and evaluate new software applications and system integrations
• Collaborate closely with developers, UX designers, business analysts, and system analysts
• Support the integration and deployment of SailPoint Identity IQ, Okta, and Azure SSO solutions
• Create and maintain API services related to access policies and external integrations
• Work on Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project goals

1. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Skill/Experience Years Required/ Preferred

• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies for software solution delivery 6+ years Required
• Collaboration with architects, PMs, and service managers for SailPoint deployment 6+ years Required
• Hands-on SailPoint IIQ development (workflows, rules, connectors, policies) 4+ years Required
• Experience with Okta single sign-on integration 4+ years Required
• Development of API services to handle access policies and requests 4+ years Required
• Experience working with Texas State Agencies 2+ years Preferred

Special Considerations

• Must be self-motivated and able to function with limited supervision
• Strong collaborative and communication skills are essential
• Previous work in large-scale IT projects, particularly in IAM and SSO integrations, is critical
• Familiarity with state government systems is a plus

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
