Job Title: DevOps Engineer 3
Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract Duration: 7 Months (with possible extension 1 - 2 years)
Interview Format: In-person and Microsoft Teams

Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Mon & Wed) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).

Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Job Overview: Client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer 3 to design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery. The candidate will work closely with IT developers to streamline integration, deployment, and operational processes in a modern cloud environment.
Job Description:
Works with IT developers to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes. DevOps aims at coupling a tighter alignment between IT operations and businesses.

Skilled DevOps Engineer to design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery. This role will focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational excellence for modern cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability.

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize workflows and enforce best practices.

Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve system scalability.
