RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Mountain View, CA that is seeking a Graphic Designer III.
Responsibilities:
* Encourage the team to explore bold ideas and broaden their horizons to foster innovation and accelerate learning, leading to confident launches of new offerings in the market
* Develop an inspiring design vision and strategy that promotes innovation and clarity among stakeholders and teams
* Build strategic relationships and advocate for stakeholder alignment towards a shared experience vision
* Utilize storytelling and prototyping tactics to amplify customer stories and evoke strong emotional responses, driving accountability and action
* Act as a role model in identifying leap-of-faith assumptions and executing experimentation plans with clearly defined hypotheses and meaningful metrics
* Deliver multiple projects simultaneously through robust communication and time management skills
* Participate in and analyze extensive customer research to identify insights that will ultimately provide customer value and delight
* Participate in and promote a culture of detailed feedback rooted in first principles, design rationale, customer data, and industry best practices
* Provide craft mentorship to co-ops and early career designers
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or other relevant field; Master's degree preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered
* 7+ years of experience in UX/UI, product, or interaction design, with a strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
* Mastery in navigating ambiguity and translating abstract, early-stage ideas into cohesive, end-to-end design strategies-from concept to polished, high-fidelity execution
* Deep knowledge of user experience design methods, design principles, and frameworks
* Deep expertise in visual and interaction design, with a refined eye for layout, and visual hierarchy that elevates product quality and usability
* Expert-level proficiency with design tools such as Figma, including systems thinking, design operations, prototyping, and design-to-engineering handoff
* Strong strategic thinking and systems design capabilities; Able to define frameworks, workflows, and patterns that scale across products and teams
* Skilled in design discovery, including competitive audits, analogous research, and opportunity framing to guide innovation and inspire new directions
* Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders and advocating for user-centered design at all levels
* Portfolio that demonstrates ownership of end-to-end experiences, leadership in vision-setting, and executional excellence across multiple platforms
* Experience designing AI-driven or emerging technology experiences, with the ability to anticipate future user needs and behaviors
* Strong business acumen and experience in managing multiple stakeholders and senior leadership expectations
* Experience designing for accessibility and knowledgeable in usability
* A background in SaaS is preferred but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
