Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to join our team in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development of data integration and transformation solutions using industry-standard ETL tools. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business users to support critical data projects across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across various systems.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity and quality.

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation.

  • Build scalable and efficient data pipelines to support reporting and analytics needs.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, ensuring timely data availability and resolving issues proactively.

  • Implement best practices for ETL development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar).

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.

  • Proficiency with ETL performance tuning and error handling techniques.

  • Experience working with large datasets and complex data transformations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).

  • Familiarity with Python, Shell scripting, or other programming languages.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Previous experience in financial services, healthcare, or similar regulated industries.
