Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Developer, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex problems
Lead the team in technical direction, ensuring best practices in coding and architecture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategy with business goals
Design and Architecture
Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems using Java and Spring
Architect solutions on Google Cloud Platform and AWS cloud platforms with a focus on large-scale data processing
Development and Implementation
Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Java and Spring
Implement complex data processing solutions using Dataflow in Google Cloud Platform
Ensure integration and deployment pipelines are optimized for cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform and AWS)
Individual Contribution
Lead by example as an individual contributor, driving high coding and design standards
Conduct code reviews, mentor team members on coding standards and best practices
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, other Engineers to define technical solutions and deliver high-quality products
Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
Experience
Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in software development
At least 3 years of experience with Dataflow and large-scale application development
Proven experience with Java and Spring Framework
5+ years of Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Technical design and solution experience of at least 5 years
Technical Skills
String proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
Solid experience with Dataflow for large-scale data processing
Proficiency in cloud services and architectures on Google Cloud Platform and AWS
Knowledge of microservices architecture, Restful APIs, and CI/CD Pipelines
Experience with NoSQL and Relational Databases
Soft Skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
