Job Details

Cybersecurity Program Manager to manage and drive the adherence to cybersecurity requirements, strategies and programs to protect an organization's data and systems. This role acts as a bridge between business needs and technical security solutions, ensuring alignment and effectiveness. Key responsibilities include managing risk assessment resolution, overseeing the responses to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, managing security projects, and collaborating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Security Dashboard and Strategic Alignment:
Monitor the security dashboards, escalate any non-green statuses for response and resolution. Coordinate compliance efforts that align with the organization's overall information security strategy.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Collaborate with vulnerability owners to establish and execute plans that mitigate cyber threats and risks.
Project Management:
Provide program oversight for cybersecurity projects, including, planning, execution, and closure.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with senior business stakeholders to obtain buy-in for security programs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and manage security audits.


Required Skills and Qualities:
Strong Technical Understanding: A deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices.
Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and execute cybersecurity projects effectively.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead and influence others, including senior management and other departments.
Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and how security impacts the organization.

Certifications that would be a plus:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP): A widely recognized certification for cybersecurity professionals.
Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM): A certification specifically for managing cybersecurity projects.
