Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with strong leadership capabilities to guide clients through all phases of SAP TM implementation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving solution design, leading project teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients on SAP TM best practices and capabilities. This role requires deep SAP TM functional expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior consultants while ensuring successful project outcomes.

Preferred
Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP SD, or third party logistics systems.
Knowledge of transportation industry processes (Freight, Logistics, 3PL/4PL).
SAP certifications in TM or Supply Chain modules.
Experience working in Agile and hybrid project delivery models.

Key Responsibilities
-Client Engagement
Work closely with clients to understand business processes, gather requirements, and identify functional gaps.
Recommend best practices aligned with industry standards and SAP TM capabilities.
Conduct client workshops, solution demonstrations, and training sessions.

-Functional & Technical Expertise
Configure SAP TM modules including:
o Transportation Planning
o Freight Order Management
o Carrier Selection & Tendering
o Freight Execution & Tracking
o Charge Management & Settlement
Develop functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and custom developments.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external systems.

-Team Leadership & Mentoring
Mentor junior consultants, providing guidance on SAP TM concepts, project activities, and career development.
Support team members in issue resolution, design decisions, and task execution.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance delivery environment.
Issue Resolution & Support
Troubleshoot system issues during testing, cutover, and post go-live phases.
Provide expert support for defect resolution, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.

-Continuous Improvement
Stay current with SAP TM releases, innovations, and industry trends.
Recommend improvements and enhancements to optimize existing client solutions.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, practice development, and accelerators.
