Planview Configuration Specialist

How You'll Help Us:
As a Planview Expert / Configuration Specialist, you will work with Client Delivery Teams, Product Owners, and the client Business Agility Enablement team to assist with ongoing deployment of Agile practices across clients. You may also interact with all levels of the organization to inform and influence understanding of the value in the change.
You will work diligently as a change agent within the team, teaching and guiding an environment of continuous learning and improvement, experimenting, and keeping the team to solid agile form in their practices. You will be an extension of the coaching voice for the organization, further fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. In fulfilling this role of Sr. Scrum Master, you will work directly with teams and coaches to listen and observe, empathically co-create value mindsets and lean product delivery practice adherence, helping the team be able to focus, and have eyes on the outcomes over outputs. This role teaches the fundamentals of agility in context of team solution delivery. This is taught and maintained by coaching stances in training, teaching, mentoring, modeling, facilitating, etc., Providing helpful written documentation in context on Agile events, metrics and measures that matter, dashboards, insights, tools, and techniques is expected. This role is important to support our goal of returning the highest possible value to our businesses and our customers.
Required Qualifications:
8+ Deep expertise in Planview Portfolios, AgilePlace, and associated modules.
6+Experience with enterprise strategy execution, governance, and OKR frameworks.
6+Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
5+Proficiency in BI tools and data modeling.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Prior experience in training, coaching, or SME development is a plus.
Job Requirements:
Platform Configuration & Administration
Design, build, and configure Planview Portfolios and integrations with AgilePlace and Azure DevOps
Maintain and enhance Planview Hub connectivity, including token lifecycle management and automation
Strategic Portfolio Management
Define and manage strategies, outcomes, and investments within Planview Portfolios
Support governance workflows, intake processes, and prioritization models
Training & Enablement
Develop SMEs via Planview's Ambassador program and lead bootcamp-style training for power users and admins
Conduct role-specific training and office hours to drive adoption and reduce reliance on external support
Reporting & Analytics
Build dashboards and reports using Planview's native tools and BI integrations (Power BI, Tableau)
Enable KPI tracking, scenario modeling, and capacity planning across portfolios
Roadmapping & Visualization
Create strategic, capability, and execution roadmaps using Planview's timeline and swimlane views
Align product work with OKRs and strategic outcomes
Integration & Automation
Implement and manage APIs, connectors, and data feeds for financial, HR, and execution systems
Troubleshoot sync issues and ensure data integrity across platforms
Preferred Skills:
Planview University certifications (e.g., EA Training, Ambassador Program).
Agile or Lean Portfolio Management credentials.
