IT Mobile Asset Management Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Mobile Asset Management Analyst with a focus in mobile device logistics and carrier services to join our IT Asset Management team. As the IT Mobile Asset Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our global mobile portfolio.

This role will focus on managing the full lifecycle of mobile devices and overseeing carrier services across all global regions. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with our Support teams and Client Platform Engineering teams, particularly those supporting various Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Mosyle, SOTI, etc..

What You'll Be Doing:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all global mobile carrier relationships.

Manage procurement, activation, and cancellation of carrier services and lines.

Monitor mobile usage, costs, and invoices; identify and resolve billing discrepancies.

Negotiate carrier contracts and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Maintain inventory of active lines, SIM cards, and associated device plans.

Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of mobile devices procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, upgrades, and disposal.

Ensure accurate asset records in ITAM systems and compliance with internal standards.

Support logistics and fulfillment of mobile devices for new hires, replacements, or regional initiatives.

Partner with Support teams to ensure timely fulfillment and support for mobile device requests.

Collaborate closely with Client Platform teams on MDM policy enforcement, enrollment automation, and compliance.

Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes related to mobile device allocation and recovery.

Generate reports on mobile asset inventory, carrier usage, cost trends, and policy compliance.

Maintain and update process documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles related to mobile services.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Telecom Expense Management, or similar field.

Working knowledge of mobile carrier platforms, contract structures, and device procurement.

Experience with at least one MDM platform (e.g., Mosyle, Intune, Jamf, AirWatch).

Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work across global teams.

Proficient with ITSM/ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira) and Excel.

Experience in a multinational organization with global device and carrier management.

Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and end users.

Proven experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Suite, JIRA or other related project management tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
