Scrum Master
The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Scrum Master to support initiatives that modernize the Department of Veterans Affairs' Informatics and Computing Infrastructure ( VINCI ) . In this hybrid role, you will guide an Agile delivery team while also providing analytical insights that inform product decisions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement. You will coach the team on Scrum best practices, remove impediments, and ensure predictable delivery, while also analyzing data related to product performance, workflow efficiency, and outcomes.

You will work closely with product owners, developers, analysts, and VA stakeholders to translate business and data requirements into actionable user stories, dashboards, and met rics. Using tools such as Jira, Micro sof t Office, and data analysis platforms, you will help teams make data-driven decisions that improve delivery effectiveness and enhance Veterans' access to critical healthcare information and services.

You Have:
  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead for sof tware or data teams
  • Experience applying Agile techniques, including user stories, ATDD, TDD, continuous integration, continuous testing, and iterative delivery
  • Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data to support product planning, delivery tracking, and continuous improvement
  • Experience with Jira and collaboration tools such as Micro sof t Teams or Zoom
  • Knowledge of Agile met rics, including burndown charts, velocity, cycle time, and defect trends
  • Ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting data platforms or analytics environments, including within the VA or federal space
  • Experience using Atlassian tools for backlog management, reporting, and delivery tracking
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, or visualizations to support stakeholder decision-making
  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and XP frameworks
  • Experience educating teams on backlog refinement, prioritization, and data-informed planning
  • Certified Scrum Master ( CSM ) or equivalent Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
