Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Apigee Architect with profound expertise in the Apigee platforms, including Apigee Edge SaaS and Apigee X. The ideal candidate should have a documented track record in designing and implementing Apigee X solutions, with the capability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This client-facing role demands collaboration with Concentrix program managers to lead Apigee Migration Factory projects across diverse clients and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership in Apigee Migrations: Spearhead comprehensive, tailored Apigee migrations (Edge SaaS to X) aligning with client requirements and business goals
  • Project Management: Demonstrate exemplary leadership in guiding project teams, managing initiatives, and ensuring smooth API project execution
  • Client Consultation: Proactively engage with clients to identify challenges and propose strategic solutions, enhancing client relationships and exploring future opportunities
  • Expert Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor, utilizing industry and company knowledge to support and guide clients effectively through project phases to successful outcomes
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Apigee platforms, covering installation, automation, network configuration, and operations
  • Documented experience with Apigee X platform implementations

Key Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of the differences between Apigee Edge SaaS and Apigee X platforms, with a particular focus on management APIs and structural distinctions
  • Experience in migrations to Apigee X, which includes but is not limited to Apigee components (Apps, Developers, KVMs, Target Servers, Proxies, etc.) and their dependencies
  • Strong communication skills with a preference for client-facing consulting experience
  • Proven experience leading by consensus and example
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments and requirements

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Apigee proxy development, including logging, fault rules, and security measures like JWT and OAuth
  • Knowledge of backend components such as Cassandra, nginx routers, Apigee ingress, and GKE
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and best practices for connectivity with cloud or data centers

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEAM fields, or equivalent experience
  • Apigee API Management or Google Cloud Platform certification preferred

Role Highlights:
  • Act as the subject matter expert in Apigee, with direct access to Google Cloud Platform experts, addressing complex migrations and broader ecosystem challenges
  • Collaborate with clients to design efficient and secure API solutions while mentoring other consultants within the team

The base salary range for this position is $ 109,749 - $164,623 , plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
