We're looking for a Desktop Tech II to join our team.

Serving as a Windows technical expert on a team providing day-to-day support, workstation and tech room duties. Provide Windows support for In-House and vendor applications perform application installations, deployments, configurations and support. Improve problem management and stability within environments. Assist with analysis, evaluation and preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and develop and implement remediation plans. Upgrade and enhanced tool management. Provide Level 3 support to user community. Set best practices relative to core technology supported.
  • Support, monitor and maintain infrastructure and applications for the businesses supported.
  • React to systems, application outages, networking issues.
  • Identify root cause of issues.
  • Master new technologies and operating systems.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of technology supported.
  • Document issues and associated resolutions to the problems.
  • Understand and direct the execution of compliance and information security standards.
  • Interface with senior technologists in developing solutions.
  • Effective use of infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
  • Responsible for overall operating system applications
  • Contribute to technical direction and tactical decisions
  • Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
  • Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary
  • A minimum of 5 years System Administrator experience in: Windows Desktop operating systems
  • General familiarity with the following products and related processes: SAN and NAS Storage and related Products, tape backup solutions, Voice systems, and tech room infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Technology Infrastructure environments and Products Experience with overall network architecture components.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
  • Strong understanding of Platform level Controls and Compliance requirements. MCSE Certification a plus.
  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills

Wage Range :
The hourly rate for this position is between $25.25 - $37.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
