Role: SharePoint Architect
Location: Warren, NJ (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Position Overview:
- As a SharePoint Architect, you will work with Client stakeholders and IT teams do design, develop SharePoint site as per the client requirement.
- A SharePoint Architect acts as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring SharePoint is used effectively to support organizational goals. Success in this effort will be demonstrated by excellence in customer engagement and coordination/delivery of services in a pain-free manner. The effort will require self-management in the following duties (There may be others):
- Managing many scheduled engagements with customer groups at the same time.
- Organizing content and leveraging technology tools to migrate data and content to SharePoint Online.
- Reporting progress regularly to customers and management.
- Developing clear and concise documentation and controls of multiple processes running in parallel.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: SharePoint Architects design the structure of SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows. They determine how data will be organized, accessed, and secured.
- Integration: Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, and other business applications.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure SharePoint environments perform efficiently and are scalable to meet future needs.
- Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within SharePoint.
- Migration: Lead or assist with migrating existing data/SharePoint instances to new versions or platforms.
- Governance: Establish policies and procedures for using SharePoint effectively and securely within the organization.
- Technical Leadership & AI enablement
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years SharePoint Online setup and data migration including:
- 10+ years of experience in Strong SharePoint Expertise: Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and functionalities.
- 10+ years of Technical Skills experience : Proficiency in web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), PowerShell, and database management (SQL).
- 10+ years of experience Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze business requirements and design effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- 10+ years of experience with Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud-based SharePoint (SharePoint Online) and integration with Azure services.
- 10+ years of Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects, timelines, and resources.
- Experience in AI tools
