Job Description:

Design Systems: Motion Designer

The Role:

• As a Motion Designer in the Client product design group, you will help to define and drive the future state of motion design language working across multiple domain experiences and platforms, in collaboration with leadership team, design leads, and working closely with product partners. Your key responsibility is helping craft the new Client brand DNA through storytelling and developing engaging in-product animated moments, transitions, and interactions.
• We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer with strong technical skills and a strong understanding of social and motion trends. You will work closely with design leaders, product management, brand, and cross-platform engineering to successfully go from early stage product concepts to launch. You are a very creative visionary that can translate business needs into a fantastic customer-focused solution. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract and then being able to drive that vision into solid design deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Create the vision for crafting unique and compelling motion design for Client, within the established motion framework and feel
• Editing and storytelling skills at the highest level for internal and external
• Work strategically with other executives and team members across the organization
• Ensure delivery is to developer expectations and QA to ensure implementation is to design expectations

Requirement:

Required Skills:

• 7+ years professional experience as a motion designer / user experience designer; expertise in both motion and visual design.
• A robust portfolio encompassing multiple projects and your direct contributions to them.
• Bachelor s degree in Motion Design or related design discipline.
• Proficient with industry standard motion design tools such as Rive, After Effects, and C4D

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with product development environments
• Experience designing mobile web, and/or on-device mobile applications
